Nazir Naji, a very senior and “respected” journalist in disguise shows his true colors. This SOB is thrashing and threatening a junior investigative journalist in a very insulting and unprofessional manner. This is in URDU. People who worship this journalist, please get familiar with him:

Is this how a senior journalist suppose to respond with such language? The junior journalist shows good professionalism while staying calm through Nazir Naji’s abusive insults. My goal is to expose all these bastards one by one who are fooling my country and its people.
My question to Nazir Naji is that if he was a junior journalist, wouldn’t he have not posed questions to subjects for investigative stories? Naji acts as if he is a god and demands respect from a junior person – just like how the feudal policticians in Pakistan behave. Is this how he is setting example for the new journalists to come? Since he himself is a journalist he should have known better how this works and should have stayed in his senses – if he has any left.
Naji is a sell-out journalist who is not used to this new wave of how things work. He doesn’t realize that every one is a journalist these days leaving him with no monopoly over this anymore. Blogs and other consumer generated media exist just for that very reason, reasons and technology that Naji has no clue about or has control over. He was and still is a lapdog for feudal politicians of Pakistan who feed him bones while he wags to his masters by writing in their favor and anyone who paid him a dollar – no matter who! The way he is bashing the journalist is probably how he was treated in the past and now he is taking it out on this poor guy.
Please send emails and tell him how you feel about his outbursts. He deserves no respect and needs to be taught a lesson soon.

All I want to say that this is what is wrong with Pakistan…. we have here 2 categories have’s and have not’s .. people that are have not’s are only in the game to become have’s… this conversation is the perfect example of this.

although i m not a maudoodi supporter…but naji is that sonnoffa —– who published false caricatures of such a highly followed religious cleric and earned him a real bad name…and now he openly admits it…the tapes above really show his stature and character…journalism in our country is still not that groomed that we can be proud of it…journalist make news for the sake breaking it…they are always in hunt of breaking news and bestseller’s stuff…and in doing so they never hesitate to put country’s honor at stake…to get rid of such bastards we’ve to act practically…merely mailing him and telling him how we feel about his conduct is not sufficient…there should be a dharna in front of his house untill he apologizes to that journalist and also if his plot is not legal it must be abducted…he should also be tried in court for his previous conduct against maudoodi…and we’ve to act now…

What a pity, daily jang is still publishing his columns that at least I have stopped to pay any attention. By the way, he is having slurred speech and seems quite drunk.

I listened converstation of both journalist on awaz tv. Noorani’s behaviour was the great he controled himself. Nazir said he has 50 years experience and Noorani just has 4 years so what Nazir used so many bad wording for Noorani. Shame Nazir ur behaviour, way of talking style n ur used wording was shit.Nazir asked him who given you authority to ask him about plot allotment. Noorani has the rights to ask Nazir about allotment coz he is the journalist. It was the not personal question which Nazir want to show. I hope Journalist committee will take an action against Nazir Naji misbehaviour and hopefully he would loose their job and their 50 years experience will go to grave with him. God Bless Pakistan

To me, he is not more than a jahil sahfee who did not even go to any school. His behaviour was utterly wrong and he acted as a son of ****. He seems nothing but an ***hole. To My. Norani, please keep up all the good work and keep on exposing his type of chor. I request all the snior jounalist and people of power to support Norani and kick Mr. Paji’s butt.

ohhhhh…..Too Hot comments here….Brothers…..too many questions in my mind…I heard what abusive language he used…But brother on this part i agree because i have heard him abusing…but you blamed him for getting money to write in favour of politicians…can you prove it?
My only request to all of you is that please…give proves or logic of what u are saying and for blaming someone??????????Can anyone of you prove that this voice is of Nazir Naji….I am not a supporter of this journalist….please understand what i am trying to say……….

First of all I am not your brother, seriously I am not, in any context.
Second, you say that you are a journalist in one of your other comments. You can do two things now since you have a Press Card; Call Nazir Naji or Norrani and confirm this with them, and then come back here with whatever proof you may have to counter this information. So what I am saying is that the burden of proof (or not) is on you and not me. Go investigate.
If you were thrown off by the term “sell out”, it doesn’t literally mean taking money from someone. It could mean betrayal, opportunist, etc. Plus Nazir Naji didn’t share any invoices with me on his kickbacks. Can you check with him? Again if you were thrown off by “paid him a dollar” comment, it can also mean getting favors, like a plot in Islamabad.
So now go on and do your job and enlighten us once you find something interesting or contrary.

Shame on Nazir Naji. He is a black sheep in journalist industry and he should be shamed on himself. Moreover it is an eye opener for Journalist like Hamid Mir and Insar Abbasi to think and publish this type of corruption as well. Nazir Naji has not served Pakistan. I could not understand for what services he has been awarded two plots. Shame

This so called journalist Nazir Naji shall be taken to court in Pakistan for threating the freedom of news media investigation services and reckless behavior.
